After careful consideration and countless hours strategizing it has become clear that there are too many unknown factors for us to move forward producing Whistler Pride and Ski Festival in 2021. Attempts to run the official guide program have run into too many challenges and as community leaders it is our top priority to adhere to and promote the public health measures that are in place to keep everyone safe and slow the spread of Covid19. Our team is saddened and frustrated that our hands are essentially tied by so many factors outside our control but we know it is for the best. We enter 2021 with extremely high hopes that we can produce an incredible celebration of sport and diversity in 2022.
We encourage everyone to follow the safety measures being put forward in your region. We would also like to encourage you to show your love and support to Whistler/Blackcomb in ways that are safe and appropriate. The resort is open and their love and support for our community and our festival has not changed. There are ways to enjoy the magnificence and WhistIer/Blackcomb sately.
