A graduate of Emily Carr University, artist and performance artist Brent Ray Fraser is deeply committed to the idea of art as conceptual theater. This provocateur creates art that is sly, humorous, and bold – playing with commercial culture, mass media and public sexuality that is reshaping the new millennium. Brent is preparing a customized performance for Furrocious – Military Ball, powered by SCRUFF on Friday January 27th.

Whistler Pride and Ski Festival takes place on the shared unceded traditional territories of the Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and Lil̓wat7úl (Lil’wat) Nation and works in partnership with the Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Lil̓wat7úl Cultural Centre (SLCC) to welcome guests to learn about the Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh and Lil̓wat7úl nations, their history, proud culture, and experience.
