Exclusively for youth aged 13-18 | Pre-registration is required | Limited capacity.

On Friday The Whistler Pride and Ski Festival welcomes youth to join the complimentary half-day, on-mountain guiding program. Separate ski and snowboard groups are divided by level (from green run to expert) and led by our trained volunteer guides.

Feel the wind in your face as you cruise down the Whistler Blackcomb exhilarating tubing hill. The bubly™ Tube Park offers great fun for everyone. There’s no skill or equipment required – just a sense of adventure and a desire for excitement. Once you buy your ticket you can ride as many time as you’d like until your time is up.

PARADE DAY PARTICIPATION
We encourage our teenaged pariticpants to dress in pride colours and costumes and join the youth group that will march in the parade. Mingle at the base and enjoy parade-day celebration. Be part of the cheers and applause as the flag bearers fly rainbow flags down the mountain, transferring the flags to the waiting crowd at the base.

Whistler’s The crowd then marches through the village arriving at the Whistler Conference Centre for the Parade Day T-Dance where you will have free access to a Youth Lounge area with hot chocolate, and an exclusive meet and greet opportunity with a contestant from Canada’s Drag Race Season 4! Pre-registration required, valid youth ID must be shown.

Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is thrilled to screen a BC-made documentary that explores queer identity in mountain towns and snow sports.
PEOPLE LIKE US follows Ryan as he connects with the queer community of Revelstoke, seeking their opinions and stories and relationship with mountain culture, in the hope of building perspective into what it is like to be queer in a rural setting.
